We keep it simple

At Blynde, we believe privacy is as important as the connections we're helping you build. This policy explains clearly and honestly what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

This website is a pre-launch waitlist page. We are not yet a live application. The only data we collect is what you voluntarily submit through our waitlist form.

What data we collect

When you sign up for the Blynde waitlist, we collect the following information:

• Your email address
• Your city
• The date and time of your submission

We do not collect any other personal data. We do not use cookies or tracking technologies on this website. We do not use analytics tools that identify individual users.

Why we collect it

We collect your email address and city solely for the following purposes:

• To notify you when Blynde launches in your city
• To send you occasional updates about the product's development
• To understand which cities have the most interest so we can prioritise our launch locations

The legal basis for processing your data is your explicit consent, given when you submit the waitlist form (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time by contacting us at [email protected].

Where your data is stored

Your waitlist submissions are stored securely by Netlify, our website hosting provider, on servers located in the European Union. Netlify is GDPR-compliant and processes data under a Data Processing Agreement.

We may subsequently transfer your data to an email marketing platform (such as Beehiiv or Mailchimp) solely for the purpose of sending you the communications you signed up for. Any such platform will be GDPR-compliant and subject to a Data Processing Agreement.

How long we keep your data

We will retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected — specifically, until Blynde has launched in your city and you have had the opportunity to create an account, or until you request deletion.

If Blynde does not launch within 24 months of your signup, we will delete all waitlist data and notify you by email.

Your rights under GDPR

As a resident of the European Union, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our website. This helps us improve the product and our marketing efforts. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised traffic data.

Google Analytics is only loaded after you have given your explicit consent via the cookie banner on our website. If you decline, no cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.

We have enabled IP anonymisation, meaning your full IP address is never stored or processed by Google Analytics.

You can withdraw your consent or change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking "Manage Cookies" in the footer of our website.
